Tasting notes WHITE OAK AKASHI

Nose: it opens up with notes of yellow fruit, malt and spices (green pepper). Wood and vanilla follow. It then turns to honey, together with nuances of cream and butter biscuits.

Palate: very spicy, with rich notes of first black pepper and then white. Hints of cinnamon. It also reveals citrus, orange and tangerine, followed by caramel and vanilla. A pinch of ginger and balsamic notes.

Finale: medium persistency. Notes of black pepper, cereal, citrus and ginger.

The alcoholic component is perceptible, but doesn’t result invasive. More intricate on the palate then on the nose. Spicy and sweet, the aromatice palette is refreshed by the balsamic and ginger notes.
