TASTING NOTES THE MACALLAN QUEST
Nose
Rather shy to the nose. After a few moments in the glass, aromas of wood, vanilla and yellow fruit (apple stands out) are perceptible. Lastly, sweet honey hints are revealed.
Palate
The wood is confirmed as the yellow fruit, with the apple still the protagonist. The flavor profile is now enriched with a gentle touch of white pepper and vanilla nuances.
Finish
Rather short. It develops some spiciy hints.
Overall, The Macallan Quest is equipped with a rather limited intensity and same goes for the flavor profile, which is not that structured. That said, it is stilla gentle and well balanced whisky, easy to enjoy.
