Puro Sabor 2020

The January 2022 Puro Sabor International Festival, will be once again cancelled. Just like the 2021 festival, the Nicaraguan Chamber of Tobacco (CNT) decided to cancel the event due to health concerns from Covid pandemic. Since it is an international event, the CNT wants to keep their workers, their families and any of the visitors safe. From the press release, Claudio Sgroi, president of the Nicaraguan Chamber of Tobacco, said: “We certainly miss the direct contact withthe Premium Nicaraguan tobacco lovers who used to visit us every year, but we decided that the health of our collaborators and visitors is more important.”

For the 2021 event, a groundbreaking online platform experience took it’s place. Last years event had some of the biggest guest speakers from the Nicaraguan cigar industry. No word from CNT about another online event for 2022.
