Por Larranga 47Hunters & Frankau, the official distributor of Habanos in the UK, has announced the latest UK Habanos Regional Edition, the Por Larrañaga, Larrañaga 47, will be launched on November 1st at 47 simultaneous events held at select specialist Habanos cigar retailers and hospitality venues.

The cigar measures 47 x 178 mm (7″), and although it is known as a Julieta No.2 in the factories of Cuba, most people know it simply as the “Churchill” size. Uniquely among UK Regional Editions, it is presented in Semi Boîte Nature (SBN) boxes of fifty cigars. As with some previous UK Regional Editions, an old papeleta from the brand has been recreated to dress the outside of the box. Just 1,500 boxes have been made, 75,000 cigars in total. They will be available exclusively in the U.K. from the network of Las Casas del Habano, Habanos Cigar Specialists, and selected hospitality venues the next day.

The first time a cigar was launched by several simultaneous regional events was on August 19th, 2020, for the Edición Limitada Ramon Allones, Allones No.2. At the height of the lockdown, this was a solution born out of necessity.

Just 1,500 boxes have been made, 75,000 cigars in total. They will be available exclusively in the U.K. from the network of Las Casas del Habano, Habanos Cigar Specialists, and selected hospitality venues the next day.
