Les Fines Lames presents Havana Streets Series

Les Fines Lames presents Havana Streets Series

Les Fines Lames presents Havana Streets Series 1600 900 Michel Arlia

Les Fines Lames presents Havana Streets Series: an homage to the fascinating city of Havana.

“Each design is made by Pierre Jourdan, the founder, and president of Les Fines Lames. Always keen to delve into new techniques and innovation, he relied on AI to generate the series of artworks for the first time. Giving the Artificial Intelligence a text prompt allows you to get the initial inspiration. Then, of course, the drawing needs some touching up and work to be perfectly displayed on LE PETIT cigar cutter”, says Fabien Kerneis of Les Fines Lames to CigarsLover Magazine.

The brand-new Havana Streets series introduces three new designs: Almendrón, Habana Vieja, and Hacia El Malecón.

Almendrón: How to dedicate a series to the streets of Havana without paying tribute to the Almendrón? These pre-1959 cars that abound in Havana are definitely part of the exceptional atmosphere of the city!

Habana Vieja: Wandering through the streets of Old Havana offers a profound insight into Cuban culture that cannot be found anywhere else. Exploring these streets is like opening a time capsule full of History and colors. Hasta luego!

Hacia El Malecón: All roads lead to Malecón, the famous waterfront promenade located in the north of Havana.

Totally crafted in the capital of French cutlery, Thiers, LE PETIT by LES FINES LAMES is an authentic friction folder knife. Small like a pocket knife, its size is 11.5 cm, and it has a 6.5 cm non-lockable blade made from 14C28N stainless-steel offering a razor-sharp cutting edge, able to cut through the biggest cigars, up to 70 gauge (2.8 cm diameter). The retail price per knife is set at $169.

To whether more designs will follow, Kerneis responded to CigarsLover Magazine: “this is already our third series revolving around Cuba. After the success of the Cuba Compass series and the Cuban flag design, which is our bestseller, we are convinced that this series will also receive love from the community. To offer a pictorial and colorful design like this is a first! So far, we’re getting a lot of great feedback from our customers and partners who have already received it. That’s always a good sign.”
