Glenlivet 12 Baretto Import

Glenlivet 12 Baretto Import 800 450 Federico Bosco

The Glenlivet 12 Baretto Import is a bottle that can be defined as “historical”. Glenlivet, in the ’70s, produced various types of single malts for each exporting country. Baretto Import was the Italian company that imported Glenlivet and at the time the single malt market was quite small. The information on this bottle are rather scarce. Availability is practically zero and exclusively linked to the collectors market.

TASTING NOTES GLENLIVET 12 BARETTO IMPORT

Nose: very spicy and vegetal. Aromas of barbecue, rosemary, pine needles and dried mushrooms. Remarkable.

Palate: sweet and mineral. Notes of ripe fruits, a mix of peach, apricot, strawberry and apple are perceptible. In the background appears a hint of white pepper, which gives depth and finesse to the flavor profile. The intensity is perfect.

Finish: long persistence and intense. Slightly smokey, barbecue, rosemary, spices, yellow fruits and hints of mineral.

The distinctive features of this twelve year old is its extreme balance paired with an exceptional intensity.
