TASTING NOTES – DROUET & FILS VSOP

Nose

Nutty scents, mainly walnut, are followed by leather, wood, and intense peppery notes, which are the true protagonist to the nose.

Palate

Notes of cocoa, walnut, and earth, are accompanied by a touch of raisins, almost imperceptible. Then, the leather returns. Pretty dry.

Finish

medium-short persistence. There are wood spices and leather. Slightly bitter.

Overall the Drouet & Fils VSOP is a cognac that lack in terms of structure. The flavor profile is rather contained as-well- Despite the low ABV, the alcohol component is too pronounced to the palate.
