TASTING NOTES – THE DALMORE VAULT

Nose

It reveals notes of fresh wood, followed by aromas of fruit, mainly green apple peel and banana. Then it is the time of spices (white pepper and hints of saffron).

Palate

Notes of spices, white pepper and paprika, are followed by red fruits (apple and strawberry). The flavor profile is then completed by a hint of rabarb and cardamom, which add deepness.

Finish

Medium long persistency. It delivers notes of cocoa, red fruits and a touch of dried fruits.

Overall, the Dalmore Valour it performs good to the nose, but to the palate this Scotch is less structured and satisfying. Same goes for the finish.
