Tasting notes CRAGGANMORE 12 years
Nose: it releases an intense flora perfume. Followed by ripe fruits (red apples). A barely hinted note of white pepper complete the aromatic palette.
Palate: is a little spicy, with distinguishable notes of white pepper. Some red fruits peak through, among which are apples, strawberries and cherries. Cotton candy and lastly some traces of malt and wood. Simple, but straightforward.
Finale: the persistency is short. It develops suave notes of spices (the omnipresent white pepper), fruit, brown sugar and hints of honey.
The Cragganmore12 y0 is a simple whisky, that presents a not very ample aromatic palette, but with a good balance, A higher gradation would probably give of a higher sense of satisfaction, but you can’t expect everything from a product in this price range.
