Florida’s Corona Cigar Co. is celebrating their 25 years in the cigar business. For such a celebration, Jeff & Tanya Borysiewicz of Corona Cigar Co. have teamed up with Nelson Alfonso of Selected Tobacco and United Cigars. “We celebrate moments in our lives, and this one is very special to the Corona family,” said Jeff. “We have admired all of Nelson’s work in the industry and are honored to have him be a part of our 25th Anniversary.” Oliver Nivaud of United Cigars said, “Nelson’s packaging design influence has touched the industry on a global scale, and these 25th Anniversary humidors for Corona Cigars are for the history books.” Not one, but two limited edition humidors for the quarter-century celebration. Both of the humidors are featuring unique cigars from Atabey and Byron. Each humidor comes with 25 cigars packed inside. Each humidor comes with a hygrometer and humidification device.
The Atabey humidor will have Jeff Borysiewicz’s favorite vitola inside, the Misticos. The cigar is a 56 x 152 mm (6″) and displays the Corona 25th cigar band. The cigars were from the 2013 vintage, so already 7 years of age when available. A total of 250 humidors were all individually numbered. The 25-ct Attabey Humidor will have an MSRP of $850 before taxes.
The Byron humidor will feature an exclusive cigar only available at Corona Cigar Co. The Byron Venecianos is a torpedo sized cigar. For this release, it receives a dark Ecuadorian wrapper. An additional Corona Cigar Co 25th band is displayed on the cigar. The Byron release is more limited, with only 200 of the 25-ct humidors being produced. The Byron humidor has an MSRP of $850.
