TASTING NOTES CASTAREDE BRUT DE FUT FOLLE BLANCHE 8 ANS D’AGE
Nose: the higher gradation, compared to the other products of the brand, is well perceptible, but does not create problems. Its youth is perceivable by virtue of a pleasant energy. The aromatic palette is not ample, but it is well blended: intense spices (green pepper) are joined by red fruit (plums and peaches). Nuts are also evident: almond, walnut and dates.
Palate: sweet on the lips, with increasing intensity. A sweet spice is perceivable, (white pepper), it then turns to red fruits (strawberry, black cherry, plum). Milk chocolate appears as well. Round, oily and almost chewable.
Finish: of long persistence. Intense. It reveals cocoa, dried fruits and red fruits.
Overall, the Castarède Brut de Fut Folle Blanche 8 ans d’age is a product with an interesting complexity. On the palate, the high gradation gives an extra boost to this spirit and the finish profits as well, which is above average.
