Casa 1910 Cuchillo Parado

Casa 1910 Cuchillo Parado 1600 900 Luca Cominelli

Casa 1910 Chuchillo Parado is the first cigar the company presented when they launched. It is named after the city famous for starting the Mexican Revolution in 1910 and the year is also the inspiration for the brand’s name.

Casa 1910 Cuchillo Parado

The cigars are dressed in a Colorado Claro wrapper, that is slightly rough to the touch. The construction is great, and the cigars appear to be slightly box-pressed.

Casa 1910 Cuchillo Parado

Casa 1910 Cuchillo Parado: the cold draw reveals intense scents of green tea. Unique flavor. The opening delivers notes of cellulose and earth.

Casa 1910 Cuchillo Parado

The first third turns to roasted notes, earth and seasoned wood. In the background, there is a rich peppery flavor, which lasts very long. The strength is a little below the medium level (2.5/5).

The second third confirms the roasted notes and the earth, together with the pepperiness in the background. The strength is confirmed (2.5/5).

In the last third, the flavor profile turns to vegetal aromas, with rich balsamic nuances that get richer getting closer to the finale. A little nuttiness and a touch of wood come through as well. The strength increases a little, reaching the medium level (3/5).

Overall, the Casa 1910 Cuchillo Parado delivers a rich flavor profile, both in terms of intensity and structure. The evolution is perceivable mainly between the last two thirds. The cigar made into our TOP5 Awards 2021 in our Rest of the World category.
