A new limited edition from Caldwell is scheduled to arrive at retailers this week, the Blind Man’s Bluff “This is Trouble”. The blend of this 52 x 127mm (5″) Robusto is completely different than that of the regular production line. It uses a Mexican San Andres wrapper over a Dominican binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua (Doble Ligero Dominicano, Corojo Dominicano, Habano Esteli).
“BMB has been a tremendously successful brand for us over the years. We have never done anything funky with it. We wanted to give it a little extra love this year, so we decided to roll out a limited production, an extra special cigar. We are always working on blends (if even only for fun), and sometimes these blends are so damned good that we have to share them with our friends. This cigar is just that”, said Robert Caldwell, president of Caldwell Cigars, in a press release.
The production is limited to 1,000 boxes. 750 of those are for the US market, while the remaining 250 are heading to international markets. Retail price is $10, and the cigars are sold in 20-ct boxes.
