TASTING NOTES BENRIACH 17 YEARS OLD SEPTENDECIM
Nose: intense notes of mineral peat emerge, followed by yellow fruits (apple and pear) and smoky nuances. Lastly, balsamic herbs are delivered as well.
Palate: very spicy (white pepper), then peat and smoky notes that recall the fireplace.
Finish: medium – long. White pepper and spices. Smoked and bonfire, with a marine touch.
The BenRiach 17 Year Old Septendecim is a whisky with a good persistence and balance. The flavor profile is well balanced and the peat does not overpower the flavors, although it plays a prominent role. Good intensity.
