Pierre Ferrand cognac introduces Légendaire in the US 1600 900 Scott Sherer

PIERRE FERRAND COGNAC LÉGENDAIRE Pierre Ferrand Légendaire is the first of an expected annual release. Légendaire is a limited edition cognac featuring some of Ferrand’s oldest cognacs. Some of which date back 100 years. Once the desired age had been reached, these cognacs were placed into glass demi-johns. The blend was created by Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel. Gabriel then placed the aged cognacs into a zebra cask to finish aging. If you are new to the term “Zebra Cask” it is a process by removing several staves from the cask, and replacing them with brand new ones. The cask then looks like a Zebra striped pattern.

The intro release production is only 500 bottles. US availability begins in November 2020 with an MSRP of $2,800 per 750-ml bottle.
