GLENFIDDICH FIRE AND CANE

TASTING NOTES – GLENFIDDICH FIRE AND CANE

Nose

It releases warm notes of yellow fruit, including pear and apple. Nuances of citrus are perceived in the background. Custard and balsamic herbs follow.

Palate

Fairly intense in the beginning. A mix of wood and ripe fruit are perceptible, making their way on a slightly sweet base. Nuances of cocoa, almost imperceptible, reach the palate as well.

Finish

Of medium persistence. Notes of spices, wood and walnut develop.

Overall, Glenfiddich Fire and Cane is a Scotch whisky with a fairly large flavor profile and a good intensity. Simple to appreciate and with an evaluation in line with the other releases belonging to the “Experimental Series”.
