The 2017 Regional edition for the United Kingdom, La Gloria Cubana Británicas Extra, will arrive in stores in the next few days. The delay of this cigar is a record coming even after the release of the 2018 regional “El Rey del Mundo La Reina” distributed in 2019.
La Gloria Cubana Británicas Extra has the same size as the 2012 Regional Edition (Bolivar Británicas), a Perfecto that measures 48 x 136 mm.
The cigar wears a particular version of the La Gloria Cubana band, which was found in the archives by Jemma Freeman, executive director of Hunters & Frankau.
La Gloria Cubana Británicas Extra will be available in limited quantities of 6,000 boxes, each containing ten cigars. The retail price is set at £ 300, approximately 335 euros.
