La Barba Purple Gordo

La Barba Purple Gordo: very light scents of wood are perceivable to the cold draw. First few puffs are mainly earthy, but still on a mild side.

La Barba Purple Gordo

The first third delivers light notes of earth, together with a touch of wood, the latter almost imperceptible. Strength is very mild (1/5).

In the middle section, the smoke performs better with nutty notes, earth and hints of wood. Strenght is still very mild (1.5/5).

The last third shows no improvements in terms of aromas. Strength doesn’t change (1.5/5).

Overall, the La Barba Purple Gordo, delivers a very mild smoke, in terms of both strength and intensity. Considering the big size of this cigar, and so its smoking time, it ends up being rather boring.
