The Glenfiddich Project XX Experimental Series is the second edition in the Glenfiddich Experimental Series after the IPA Experiment. Apparently, 20 Glenfiddich brand ambassadors gathered and each picked a cask after which all 20 casks were vatted to produce this whisky. The final composition reads 17 bourbon barrels, 2 sherry butts, 1 port pipe. The whisky is non-chill filtered and bottled at 47% ABV.

TASTING NOTES GLENFIDDICH PROJECT XX EXPERIMENTAL SERIES
Nose: fresh apple juice, honey, vanilla and malt sweetness. The longer it stays in the glass the more sherried it gets: raisins, dried apricot, pineapple sweets, also cinnamon and Christmas cake feel, very pleasant.
Palate: nice arrival, good mouthfeel. Some grain action, raisins, dried fruit, blood oranges and licorice all sorts. Nice weight. Then it gets more savory with tobacco and some earth aromas.
Finish: medium persistency. Leafy, few oak tannins.
The Glenfiddich Project XX Experimental Series is harmonious e balanced. Quite a bit more interesting than the regular 12.
