TASTING NOTES GLENCADAM 10 YEARS OLD
Nose: simple, delicate, rather farmy, yeasty and very grainy. Breakfast cereals, grass, some honey and sweet yellow apple are enriched by earth in the background, subtle but pleasant.
Palate: it has a good mouthfeel to it. At first it is grainy; it develops notes of cereals and barley malt. Then marzipan, fresh apples and wax. Light and easy. The base is more on a sweet side.
Finish: long persistence. Sweet. It delivers grassy notes, with some more cereals.
The Glencadam 10 Years Old results shy to the nose and pleasant to thepalate. It has a farmy/grainy style characterizing it the most.
Score: 82 points.
