TASTING NOTES ARRAN 14 Years Old
Nose: soft. It delivers different berries, black currant jam and also grains (breakfast cereals). Then dried fruit, soft vanilla, some wax and mild earth, quite a bit of happening, very enjoyable.
Palate: easy, good body. It exhibits more black currants and more cereals, together with orange marmalade, overripe pears, cocoa and almonds. There are also some tannins, nice development.
Finish: medium persistency. Clean. Honey and wood spice are perceivable.
The Arran 14 years old is a very enjoable and extremely drinkable. Quite a bit of complexity for such an easy spirit, won’t offend anyone.
