Aesthetically, it presents a Colorado shaded wrapper, that is silky to the touch. The filling is homogeneous.
Punch Regios de Punch EL2017: unlit, hints of seasoned wood. The opening brings a mix of vegetal notes and spices to the palate.
The first third continues on the spicy notes, which are brought to the foreground. In addition to the peppery component, a toasted hazelnut nuance, supported by an earthy vein, can be perceived in the background. Strength is slightly above medium (3,5/5).
In the second third, the spicy component dozes off and moves to the background. Continuing, the smoke becomes slightly dry. Strength stays unchanged (3,5/5).
The last third turns on a strong note of nuts (walnut), supported by an earthy base. The smoke remains slightly dry and the pepper stays in the background. Strength grows a little, but enough, to reach a medium-full level (4/5). The finale is characterized by sweet nuances.
Overall, the Punch Regios de Punch EL2017 gives rise to a harmonious and balanced smoke, even if the sweetness that distinguishes this Cuban brand is not present (leaving aside the finale, where it can just barely be made out).
