Saga Golden Age Lancero

Saga Golden Age Lancero

Saga Golden Age Lancero 800 450 Luca Cominelli

The Golden Age Lancero Saga is a cigar produced in the Dominican Republic, by the Reyes family. The band used for these cigars shows the particularity of being carved: the writing “Saga” is not simply embossed as usual in the bands, but is carved and the color of the writing is given by the shade of the wrapper.

Saga Golden Age Lancero: the cold draw reveals hints of barnyard and dried mushrooms. The opening delivers soft wooden notes.

In the first third it continues on the aroma of wood, followed by spicy hints. Strength is very contained (1,5/5), as well as the aromatic intensity.

In the middle thire are notes of nuts present, which are mainly outlined in walnut and hazelnut. Shades of balsamic herbs can also be perceived. Strength increases a little, still on the lighter side (2/5).

In the final third, the aromatic palette shows no particular changes. Only the balsamic herb component becomes more intense, moving into the forefront. Strength is unchanged.

The evolution is particularly limited and is in fact only perceptible in the first half of the cigar.
