Sold in 24-count boxes, the cigars are dressed up in a Colorado Maduro colored wrapper, that is rough to the touch. There are some veins showing.
Four Kicks Maduro Sublime: before lighting it up, it delivers hints of cocoa beans. The opening brings rich notes of black pepper and cocoa to the palate .
The first third alternates notes of earth, cocoa and a vegetal vein, the latter perceptible in the background. Strength is average (3/5).
In the second third the vegetal note is replaced by nuts (mainly walnut). Cocoa remains present. Around half way through the smoke, a rich aroma of balsamic herbs is released. Strength increases a little (3,5/5).
In the last part the balsamic herbs are brought to the foreground, while the earthy notes remain perceptible in the background. The strength remains constant (3,5/5).
Overall, the Four Kicks Maduro Sublime is equipped with a nice aromatic palette, not particularly broad but with a good intensity to it. Evolution is linear. The cigar is well balanced from start to finish.
