The packaging is particular: the box is made of carton, with inside tobacco cuts that hold the cigar and protect them at the same time. The closure is made with a string and wax laquer seal. The Robusto comes also in a package of three cigars: there is no tobacco inside the little box, but it is still made out of carton and is shares the closure type with the bigger box.

Belmore Maduro Robusto: before to light it up, cocoa and alcoholic notes are perceivable. The opening delivers notes of cocoa and spices.

The first third opens up with earthy aromas, folloed by cocoa and black pepper. The strength is medium (3/5).

The second third continues on the earthy and peppery notes, accompanied now by liquor notes and aged wood. In the aftertaste there are hints of almonds. The strength increases, reaching a medium to full strength (4/5).

The last sector alternates rich cocoa and earhty notes. The strenght doesn’t change. The finale is satisfying.

Overrall a surprizing smoke, that delivers a rich and wide aromatic palette. The intensity is remarkable as well as the complexity. The price is very interesting, making this cigar a value for money.
